Sending Your Freeware Files
In
an attempt to organize the many files we will be gathering,
I propose the following initial process to help the users of
the freeware identify the purpose of the software, where it
comes from, and who to contact for help.
Please
send a file with your product name and a trailing .README.
Each
utility will consist of two files.
- The utility packaged in a .tar or .zip file (for example, golden.utility.tar
or golden.utility.zip). Please bundle all utility
files together into a single .tar or .zip file. Additionally, please
include the .README in the .tar or .zip file.

The README file (for example, golden.utility.README). The README
file should also include the information described below.

The
following is a suggested format for the README file.
To
make it clear to people retrieving software from our system
that TigerLogic has no responsibility for the software they
are picking up, the suggested format for the README file contains
a warning disclaimer.
