Most
files are kept in both uncompressed and compressed (.Z)
state. If you have access to an uncompress utility, please
transfer the compressed version of these files. This saves
Internet bandwidth and takes less time to transfer.
Donating
Shareware
The software in
the /ftp/freeware directory is provided by other members of
the Raining Data community who have taken the time to write
software and make it available for public consumption.
Some of this software is provided
free. With others, the authors may request donations or licensing
fees. Because this site will contain both types of software,
we interchange the usage of the words Freeware and Shareware.
The files in the freeware library
are NOT provided by Raining Data. Please read the suggested
disclaimer and authorship information we would like to
see associated with software posted to this site. Also, please
